Astrology Course Information

Introduction & Fundamentals of Astrology

This 12-week course is designed to teach astrology as a language and with a spiritual approach by successfully understanding and building on the fundamentals of astrology. This will allow you to gain a greater perspective about yourself, others and the world around you.

This course is designed for students who have:

  • none to some knowledge about astrology; or for those who need a refresher on the fundamentals (think of professional athletes – they never stop practicing the basics);
  • students whose learning has been sporadic or disorganized; and
  • for those who are looking to have strong foundational knowledge and understanding of their natal charts.

Week One:

  • Introductions
  • The Elements (fire, earth, air, water)
  • The Qualities (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable)

Week Two:

  • First six signs of the Zodiac
    (Aries – Virgo)

*In-depth look at each sign

Week Three:

  • Second six signs of the Zodiac

*In-depth look at each sign

Week Four: The Solar System Model of Planetary Consciousness

  • Introductions
  • The Elements (fire, earth, air, water)
  • The Qualities (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable)

Week Five: The Construction of the Natal Chart

  • The Four Birthchart Angles
  • The Hemispheres
  • The Quadrants
  • The Twelve Houses

Week Six

  • Aspects and Planetary Rulership
  • Major Aspects (Conjunctions, Oppositions, Trines, Squares)
  • Unaspected Planets

Week Seven

  • *aspects continued, if necessary
  • The 360° Holistic Cycle Concept
  • The Minor Aspects
  • The Esoteric Aspects

Week Eight

  • Chart Patterns
  • Aspect Configurations
  • Preponderances & Deficiencies in the Chart

Week Nine

  • Chart Ruler (Planetary Ruler of Ascendant)
  • Planetary Ruler of the Midheaven

Week Ten: All About the Moon

  • Moon Phases
  • Moon aspects: softer or harsh

Week Eleven: All About the Moon

  • *continuation of previous week
  • Introduction to Fixed Stars

Week Twelve: Practice!

  • Horoscope synthesis and putting everything together
  • Student birth chart examples.

Classes are Live via Zoom and will be recorded if for some reason you cannot attend. Each class is intended to last 1-2 hours, once a week. This is to ensure discussion and Q&A time. (Just remember: time flies when you’re having fun!)
